The Air Cargo project, initiated in January 2001 has been completed. The air cargo warehouse near the Ataturk Airport, expected to start operations in March, became a member of the International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) in February 2001. Thus, the logistics services of "m.m.c. Air Cargo Warehouse" have been approved by an international organisation. TIACA is a worldwide organisation, bringing together various parties involved in air cargo logistics, such as air and ground transport companies, forwarders, producers, wholesalers, financial institutions, airports and consultants. Through its national and international work, TIACA aims to draw together the core elements of the sector and to maintain it up-to-date with worldwide developments. "m.m.c." Makes Another Step in Institutionalisation m.m.c., already offering its customers specialised warehousing solutions and providing modern, world-class logistics services, accelerates its institutionalisation efforts. In order to improve internal communication and external relations, to co-ordinate advertising and special projects, to follow developments in the sector, as well as to consolidate its marketing efforts, m.m.c.'s "Public Relations Department" started work in February. The Public Relations Department assumes great responsibilities for the improvement of operations in all departments, the enhancement of written and visual media relations, and the planning of customer-oriented projects and various activities. By working closely with all units, it is aiming to play an indispensable role in m.m.c.'s efforts to reach its potential customers under the most positive conditions. "m.m.c." Expands Its Storage Capacity ![]() m.m.c., providing warehousing services in Gebze-Dilovasi, improved its efficiency in meeting its customers' requirements by developing its racking system. With the installation of racks in February 2001, the capacity of the "TUREGUN Building", which is equipped with a fire detection and sprinkler system, was raised from 1950 to 2457 pallets. |
